Dental Services

As business owners with a busy family life, we understand the strains and pressures that can occur in your world: so it’s our promise that we’ll make your dental appointment as quick and relaxed as possible.

With expertise in all areas of dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry and dental hygiene, we are able to offer consistency of care from the moment you walk in the door. We are committed to being the best dentists we can be, in all areas of dentistry, while working to meet your individual needs.

All of our dental services are provided by fully-trained New Zealand dentists.

Our dental services include:

Individual care consultations and comprehensive treatment

This involves talking to you about your dental concerns and creating a personalised care plan.

Emergency dental treatments

Emergency dental treatments are available, so please don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and give us a call. We are here to help, and try to offer same-day appointments.

Full-mouth dental and periodontal (gum) exams

This enables a personal dental care plan to be created.

Professional teeth cleaning

This is part of oral hygiene and involves the removal of plaque, helping to prevent cavities and gum disease.

Full mouth x-rays

These allow what lies beneath the surface to be viewed as part of a whole-mouth assessment, and aid in the detection of decay, gum disease, bone loss or tumours.

Oral cancer screening

Oral cancer can occur in the tongue, teeth cavity, cheek and throat. This is carried out as part of our routine examination. An oral cancer screen allows for early identification of mouth cancer.

Tooth-coloured fillings

For many years, silver fillings or amalgams were used to restore teeth. Today, many patients are opting for tooth-coloured fillings to improve aesthetics. Advances in composite resin allow for tooth-coloured fillings to be bonded to the tooth structure.

Crowns and bridges

A dental crown, or dental cap, is used when the tooth has been badly damaged or weakened. Dental crowns are tooth-shaped coverings that are placed over the entire damaged or decaying tooth, restoring its strength, shape and size.

These are a great option for replacing a missing tooth or a number of missing teeth without compromising the neighbouring teeth.

Full and partial dentures

Our dentures are made in New Zealand using the highest quality materials and are designed to fit and work with individual patient requirements. We custom-make a solution just for you.

Root canal treatment

This involves removing an infection from the nerve of your tooth, caused by decay or injury, and replacing it with a filling. The treatment may require multiple visits to ensure it is carried out correctly and effectively.

These are undertaken for a wide variety of reasons – and always with the utmost care, using a high degree of skill. We can use Nitrous Oxide sedation to help patients relax and to relieve discomfort during their procedures.
