Haritha is a registered Dental Surgeon who graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She has gained advanced training at the University of Otago leading to a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry in 2013. Since graduating as a dentist she has been working in private practice in Christchurch.
Haritha enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and her special area of clinical interest is general dental, emergency dental, aesthetic dentistry and providing treatment under conscious sedation. Haritha is a member of New Zealand Dental Association.
Haritha is passionate about giving excellent, quality dental care in a calming, friendly and pain-free way. As a dentist she loves getting to know her patients and creating a relaxing, safe and friendly environment. She believes in minimal intervention dentistry where possible and likes to plan practical treatment plans tailored to her patient’s individual dental needs and their financial situation.
Outside dentistry, Haritha finds her passion spending time with her indoor plants. Other interests include cooking, gardening and yoga. She is also mum to two busy young children.
Bertie Graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2019.
After graduating, Bertie spent a year working at Dunedin Hospital as a member of the Maxillofacial team and it was during this time that she developed a key interest in oral surgery.
Since transitioning into private practice, Bertie has thoroughly enjoyed providing general dental care. Bertie takes a special interest in her patients’ wellbeing and makes every effort to ensure her patients are comfortable.
Her friendly and welcoming nature helps put anxious patients at ease. Outside of Dentistry, Bertie loves being active. In her spare time, you will often find her out for a run or a cycle in the Port Hills.
BDS (Leeds, UK)
Kerina graduated from Leeds University in the UK in 1996. She has worked in a number of different private practices and a University setting in the UK. She also volunteered in Guyana in South America and Benin in West Africa providing dental care to those who would not ordinarily have access to it.
In 2019 she and her family moved to Christchurch, New Zealand and Kerina has worked in private practice here in New Zealand since then.
Kerina has a calm manner and is experienced in all areas of general dentistry from fillings to gum treatments and crowns and dentures and all things in-between – with particular interest in the prevention of future oral health problems.
Outside work Kerina enjoys family life and meeting up with friends and hopes to explore more of the beautiful country that is New Zealand.
Oral Health Therapist
Emily graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Otago in 2019 and is originally from down South. Emily began her career working with the Canterbury District Health Board as an Oral Health Therapist and has also gained experience working part time at Christchurch Hospital Dental.
Emily’s goal is to help patients achieve a high standard of oral health with focus on educating her patients while providing gentle, thorough care. Emily places a big emphasis on communicating to patients, involving them in the process to gain the best treatment outcome.
Outside of work Emily is a big advocate for fitness classes and loves to discover new hiking, running trails and spends most weekends exploring different parts of New Zealand.

Arun Natarajan attained his Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Paediatric Dentistry) from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2013. Arun returned to Christchurch in 2015 and has been working as a Specialist Paediatric Dentist at the Canterbury District Health Board since then.
Arun has completed several leadership and management papers at the University of Canterbury and was recently awarded the Brain-Based Professional Leadership Coaching Certification at the Neuroleadership Institute in Sydney.
Outside Dentistry, Arun is a proud father to Diya and Diva who keep him very busy outside work. He enjoys tramping, reading, biking, socialising and food.
